Our History
Our journey began in 2008 as Rock Software, Inc., where we pioneered mobile apps and games in Southern California. Early successes included the innovative RunPee app and collaborations with celebrities like Mike Tyson and Chad Ochocinco. By 2011, we rebranded to RockLive, expanding our reach with apps featuring global icons such as Usain Bolt and Cristiano Ronaldo, amassing over 3 million active users.
In 2013, we transformed into Shots Studios with the launch of the Shots app—a positive, anti-bullying selfie-sharing platform that quickly gained over 7 million users and attracted investments from stars like Justin Bieber and Floyd Mayweather. As digital landscapes shifted, we pivoted to content creation in 2016, producing viral YouTube series, music videos, and original programming. Highlights include partnerships with Netflix for docuseries like Vai Anitta and Stories From Our Future, and music hits such as Anitta's GRAMMY-nominated tracks and Alesso's Platinum-certified singles.
By 2020, we rebranded to Shots Podcast Network to focus on the booming podcast industry, while continuing to innovate in digital media and consumer products. Today, we're proud to blend storytelling, entertainment, and entrepreneurship across multiple platforms
